Export earnings in March declined further from February and January to US$ 3.48 billion. In February the export was US$ 3.49 billion and in January it was US$ 4.41 billion. The March export earnings was 18.12% lower than that of last year. The financial year to March export reduced by US$ 230 million or 0.06%, comparing same nine-month period of the last fiscal year. The financial year to March export figure stood at US$ 35.38 billion, which was US$ 35.61 billion in last fiscal year.
The fiscal year to March export figure in 2023-24 was US$ 43.53 billion. Comparing current fiscal year data with that of 2023-24 figure, Bangladesh lost export earnings by US$ 8.15 billion or 18.7% alone in first nine months of 2025-26.
