Bangladesh receipts US$3.17 billion US dollars in January 2026, which was $60 million lesser comparing December 2025 and 984.77 million dollars higher than the same month of 2025. Upcoming national election and Eid-ul-Fitr would have earned more remittance in January than that of earlier months.
Average monthly growth in expatriates’ earnings during last twelve months (Feb-24 to Jan-25) was 3.9%, which was 1.2% during Feb-24 to Jan-25. Remittance growth in 2023-24 was 10.6% and 2024-25 was 26.8%.
